Based in Albury-Wodonga, Omega Technical Engineering provides subcontracting services to both local and interstate companies in a variety of industries, whilst fulfilling the ever-increasing manufacturing requirements for Ross Performance Parts and Aviaid Oil Systems, our own internationally recognised high performance aftermarket automotive brands.

Located in Albury-Wodonga, our facility is equipped with modern, up-to-date machinery that offers a broad range of capabilities. We provide an excellent opportunity for you to upskill into other technologies and software, ensuring you remain at the cutting edge of precision engineering.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and maintain CNC lathes
Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models
Maintain keen attention to detail, working to exacting tolerances
Work effectively within a collaborative team setting

Background with Fanuc and/or Okuma controls, and Mastercam programming software an advantage.

Selection Criteria & Essential Attributes
Passion for manufacturing and willingness to learn
Technical and mechanical aptitude
Open-minded attitude towards new methods and processes
Excellent communication abilities
Ability to work well in a team environment
Initiative and problem-solving skills
Commitment to quality standards and safe working practices
Successful completion of an AQF Qualification Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or comparable)
Two years full time employment (or equivalent part-time) in the occupation (desirable)

Hourly rate $35 – $42 per hour commensurate with experience.
