The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Welder to join our production team. This is a permanent, full-time position based in [Location]. You will be responsible for welding and assembling exhaust systems and components to precise specifications while ensuring the highest levels of quality and safety. The role involves working with various metals and performing different welding techniques, collaborating closely with the production team to bring our high-performance designs to life.

Key Responsibilities:

Weld and assemble Manta Performance Exhaust systems and components according to project requirements.
Perform MIG/TIG welding on various metals, including stainless steel and aluminum.
Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings for quality results.
Inspect finished welds and assemblies to ensure they meet Manta’s high-quality standards.
Troubleshoot welding issues and make necessary adjustments to improve quality.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety procedures and guidelines.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency and workflow.
Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

AQF Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in welding or a related trade.
Proven experience in MIG/TIG welding with the ability to work on different metals, including stainless steel and aluminum.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Skills:

Forklift license or other relevant certifications.
Experience in welding for custom fabrication and unique projects.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
