As a Disability Support Worker, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities to help them achieve their goals and live independently. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
Providing support and encouragement to help individuals reach their goals
Promoting independence and quality of life
Collaborating with families and other professionals
Implementing individualized support plans
Assisting with community integration and participation
Supporting individuals with challenging behaviors (with appropriate training)
