Job description:
• Coordinate daily Front of the House restaurant operations.
• Deliver superior service and maximise customer satisfaction.
• Handle taking orders of food and beverages.
• Respond efficiently and effectively to customer complaints and requests.
• Organise and supervise shifts.
• Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, cleaning products, and other supplies, as needed.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
• Manage the restaurant’s pleasant image and suggest ways to improve it.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
• Train new and current employees on proper customer service practises.
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations.
Qualifications/Attributes:
• Must hold a Diploma in Hospitality or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of the qualification.
• Must possess at least a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• With proven work experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Hospitality Manager, or similar role
• Must have proven customer service experience.
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
• Ability to have strong leadership, motivational and people skills.
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
