Duties:
• Preparing and cooking of various food on the menu.
• Understanding the food handling and storing techniques.
• Ensuring the quality of food are always according to the hygiene standards.
• Knowledge of western style cooking- Previous experience in similar environment would be favourable.
• Assisting chefs and other kitchen staffs in plating, portioning & presentation of food in a pleasing manner.
• Following hygiene and safety standards every time while working in the kitchen and waste control.
Skills Required:
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in the related field.
• Qualification related to cooking would be an advantage.
• Candidate should have ability to adapt quickly with any changes to the menu.
• Attention to details and ability to work well under pressure during busy time.
• Must have good work ethic and time management skills.
• Preferred but not essential - food safety certification.
