ABOUT THE SECTION The Intra-Government Communications Network (ICON) is a Commonwealth-owned asset operating within the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) and managed by Government Services Branch (GSB) within the Department of Finance (Finance). ICON is a collection of passive point-to-point optical fibre connections and related infrastructure between Australian Government agency locations across Canberra. The ICON team consists of 21 staff working across 4 areas including design, operations, Major projects, and field services.
