Job description
My client is a diversified family-owned business based in the South East. Supporting the Financial Controller, Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer, and Payroll Officer - this role is responsible for day-to-day Bookkeeping activities.
This role will best suit someone currently working as an Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeper or Accountant (CPA qualification not necessary) seeking a new role of max 30 hours per week . This can be worked either as a 4-day work week, or 5 shorter days. This role will be fully office-based in Keysborough in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs (onsite parking available).
The Role Key responsibilities may include (but not limited to) the following:
Prepare Weekly Cash Flow
Prepare Bank Reconciliations monthly (x3)
Prepare and process standing journals, general journals & project cost journals
Reconcile and transfer Payroll to the General Ledger
Calculate Work-In-Progress for all projects, prepare WIP journal and
