Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and oversee OHS compliance, policies, and safety management systems.
Conduct routine safety inspections, risk assessments, and implement control measures.
Develop and manage return-to-work programs for injured or ill employees.
Lead incident investigations, ensuring timely reporting and preventive actions.
Deliver health and safety training, workshops, and ongoing safety education.
Organise and document safety committee meetings, following up on action items.
Qualifications/Experience:
Certificate IV or Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) or equivalent.
Experience in OHS in manufacturing environment
Understanding of OHS legislation, workers' compensation, and return-to-work processes preferred
Highly organised
Proactive approach to identifying risks and resolving issues
