Job Purpose:
The purpose of this role is to generate qualified sales opportunities and leads to hand over to Sales representatives for follow up.
Responsibilities:
Sales Prospecting/Lead Generation:
? Actively seek out potential customers and engage with them through cold calling, email, or networking to build relationships and qualify them for the sales pipeline.
? Help generate, qualify, and capture leads in the database.
? Ensure the database of leads and prospects is accurate and up to date.
? Assist in updating the marketing/sales funnel and pipeline.
? Keep the sales pipeline relevant by tracking opportunities and updating information as needed.
? Support the completion of expressions of interest (EOIs), track tender opportunities, and monitor third-party vendor platforms for potential opportunities.
? Conduct market research to gather information on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
