Cadgroup Australia As a Mechanical Engineer at Cadgroup, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components with various software and CAD applications. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical solutions with other engineering and technology systems. Your role will include ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, preparing detailed technical documentation, and providing expert advice and support to clients and project teams. Additionally, you will collaborate with customers to identify improvement areas and provide tailored solutions, assist clients in adopting new technologies by configuring off-the-shelf products to meet their workflows, and develop customized solutions for data extraction, transformation, loading, and software integration. BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Collaborate with customers to identify areas for improvement, qualify solutions, and address their needs. Assist clients in adopting new technology by configuring off-the-shelf products to suit their workflow needs. Create and develop customized solutions for data extraction, transformation, and loading, as well as integration with other software solutions. Investigate and evaluate engineering problems to identify the most efficient and effective solutions. Create detailed engineering designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software for mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and safety standards. Test and debug prototypes, diagnose issues, and implement improvements to optimize performance and reliability. Work with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical systems with other engineering and technology solutions. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, reports, and operational procedures to support project implementation and maintenance. Offer expert advice and support to project teams and clients, ensuring engineering solutions meet their needs and expectations. Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance processes. Qualification & Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience of at least 2 years with mechanical system design, CAD software, and project management. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using the Autodesk Inventor API via Microsoft .NET, as well as iLogic and VBA programming. Skilled in using the Autodesk AutoCAD API via Microsoft .NET, VBA, and LISP programming. Experience with the Autodesk Vault API via Microsoft .NET programming and PowerShell scripting. Familiarity with Autodesk Platform Services such as ACC Connect, Workato, and similar applications.
