We have a cnc workshop with Laser cutter, mills, lathes and Hydraulic cylinder honing capabilities. We are based in Australias newest and most advanced shipyard, based right here on the Gold Coast, it an amazing environment and a pleasure to work in.
The Position
The successful candidate will be a trade qualified machinist with CNC experience in operating and programming CNC lathes and mills.
As a Machinist with Stella you will be working in our machine shop using cnc mill/lathe honing machine and laser cutter, you will be working on machining components for our in house manufactured products producing things like Hydraulic cylinders from scratch.
We are looking for individuals that strive to produce quality, that have a desire to succeed and grow and want to be involved in a team environment based around respect. You should be proud of the work you create and your achievement's.
You will need knowledge across different machines and materials, be willing to work within a great young team but able to manage your own time and schedule.
Duties will include:
Operation of CNC and Manual machining equipment
Honing and manufacture of Hydraulic cylinders
Involvement in design decisions and product improvements
Salary Package of $76,752 + Super
