KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Development and implementation of sales strategies and setting sales targets in order to maximise the Aftermarket sales and customer loyalty
Overall Business Development for Aftermarket segment in DMO APAC South region
Provide oversight and readily available local support for APAC South Aftermarket Distribution network and DM’s
Annual business planning creation and follow up in conjunction with Distribution Manager – Capital
Customer visits with the distributor as required to support distribution aftermarket sales
Oversees the general day to day business of APAC South Aftermarket DM’s and ensures synergies between sales
channels are exploited to jointly maximize benefit for Metso and its Distribution partners.
Key interface between distributor and aftermarket product lines
Key interface for new and/or re-engaged distributors and service partners in APAC South. Key driver for
onboarding and training of new Distributors.
Drive, manage and report on distributors’ aftermarket inventory, ensuring Distributor is supporting ongoing
business with an eye towards installed base potential and age
Key account interface and coordination within the region in conjunction with Capital DM’s
Management of any aftermarket customer / distributor issues, including direct sales within the territory if
required
Territory and competitor landscape reports (including market shares confirmed with distributor)
Support for co-op marketing, financing and training programs
Services value selling support for and education to the distributor
Local coordination of and drive behind the FCL programs, LCS programs, inventory health programs,
Aftermarket sales and general technical sales support (70% competency level)
Metso Crusher Wears Chamber Optimization program and other associated process improvement programs

REQUIREMNTS & COMPETENCES

Previous experience in a similar role
Results-driven
Strong understanding of CRM systems
Strong data analysis skills
Good written and communication skills
Advanced knowledge of MS suite of products including Word, Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
Communication & collaboration skills to work with internal and with external stakeholders (customers)
