Pure South Dining Annual salary range on offer: $73,000 – $80,000 per year plus super Job Type: Full-time Application Deadline : 22 Nov 2024 Benefits Career Development  Superannuation  Task & Responsibilities The Pastry Chef position will require the candidate to perform the following key responsibilities:  Creating unique baked dishes based on recipes and executive chef's specifications ensuring high quality  Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers To bake bread in house Ordering and stock control To supervise and train all staff working in the kitchen Ensure that excellent standards of cleaning and hygiene are maintained Monitor the performance of staff in your section and report any incidents/performance issues to the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager as soon as possible Actively enforce all restaurant policies and procedures, reporting any staff breaches to the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager as soon as possible Ensure that the Kitchen is properly maintained and report any repairs/suggested changes to the Head Chef and the Restaurant Manager Perform any other duties as reasonably required by management To follow instructions and operate effectively with minimal supervision Qualification & Experience Relevant hospitality Diploma or a Degree or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery Minimum 2 years of work experience in Kitchen Ability to read, follow and understand recipes, recipes methods and products being utilised for production  Team-oriented mindset and readiness to collaborate within a diverse team Dedication and enthusiasm for delivering top-tier service, consistently prioritizing guest satisfaction Adeptness in handling a fast-paced, high-volume setting A high standard of written and verbal communication skills.
