About the role
Public Sector People are currently recruiting for an experienced Building Assets & Projects Officer to join our local government client in their Asset team.
Reporting to the Asset Manager, the Asset Engineer will play an essential role in managing Council?s building assets. This includes preparation of asset management plans, building maintenance inspections and managing capital works projects, including tendering. This diverse role will oversee a range of Council?s assets such as depots, offices, community centres, sporting facilities, commercial premises, restaurants, kiosks and a function centre.
About you
We are looking to engage an Asset Engineer with Building experience and strong asset management, project management and negotiation skills. You will be a self-starter with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing demands in what can sometimes be a high pressure environment.
