Our client is currently looking for several experienced Chefs who are interested in joining their team on a full-time basis.

The Role:
The Chefs are responsible for planning and organising the preparation and cooking of food in dining and catering establishments. The successful candidates will be expected to work across both locations Pakenham and Cranbourne.
The annual salary for this job is $70,000 to $75,000 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities:
• Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and managing food supply orders.
• Monitoring food preparation and presentation to ensure the highest quality standards.
• Collaborating with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen staff to address food preparation and service requirements.
• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Demonstrating culinary techniques and advising staff on cooking procedures.
• Managing kitchen hygiene and food safety, ensuring compliance with all health regulations.
• Selecting, training, and supervising kitchen staff to maintain operational efficiency.
• Freezing, preserving, and storing food for future use.
• Managing inventory and minimising food waste to control costs.
• Creating and implementing new recipes to enhance the menu and attract customers.
Qualifications:
• Should hold Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery.
• Has at least two (2) years of experience as a Chef.
