Northern Meat Co-op are currently looking to recruit experienced and qualified Electrical Engineering Technician to join their team in Casino NSW 2470.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- The ability to read electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams and specifications to determine compliance with regulations and safety standards
- Use electrical test equipment/instrument to diagnose faults
- Repair and replace faulty wirings and defective parts
- Preparation of drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry
- Measuring reference points and installing cables, wirings, switchboards and main earthing systems
- Selecting, cutting, and connecting wires and cables
- Preparation of estimates of material costs and quantities
- Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying and repairing electrical equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements
- Maintenance of installed systems
- Undertaking workshop duties such as assembling protection relays, metering and indicating devices
- Collecting data and preparing complex calculations to create charts and graphs
- Knowledge of 240 volt and 12 volts electrical
Skills and Abilities:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 4 years’ experience as a qualified Electrician
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Licensing required
- White card and driver licence preferred
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
