About Us:
ALXIN Australia Industrial Pty Ltd operates a state-of-the-art aluminium extrusion facility in Tomago, NSW, with a focus on sustainable development, safety, and community growth. We are seeking an experienced Senior Die Corrector to join our team and play a key role in maintaining our high-quality standards.

Role Overview:
As a Senior Die Corrector, you will be responsible for the preparation, inspection, and correction of extrusion dies, as well as supervising die performance. You will troubleshoot issues, coordinate die trials, and liaise with suppliers. This role requires a hands-on approach, strong technical skills, and the ability to lead and guide others in the die shop.

Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect, correct, and supervise the performance of extrusion dies to ensure quality and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot die failures and propose improvements.
• Supervise die trials and ensure timely availability of dies for production.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of quality products.
• Operate and set up machining tools for precision work, including cutting, grinding, and drilling metal parts.
• Ensure proper maintenance of dies, including polishing, nitriding, and cleaning.
• Analyze die design issues and recommend improvements.
• Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards in the die shop.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Trade qualification as a Toolmaker or Machinist.
• Over 7 years of experience in a similar role within aluminium extrusion.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient in precision measuring instruments and machine tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and efficiency.
• Supervisory and coordination skills to oversee die correction activities and collaborate with the production team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal coordination and liaising with third-party suppliers.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
