Job Opportunity: Rowing Coach (Full-Time)
Location: Fremantle Rowing Club, Fremantle, WA
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000 per annum
Fremantle Rowing Club is seeking a passionate and dedicated Rowing Coach to join our team. We are a vibrant and growing club with a strong focus on developing rowers of all levels. If you have a love for rowing and a desire to coach and mentor athletes, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement training programs for all levels, from beginners to competitive rowers.
• Provide on-water coaching, technique analysis, and feedback to rowers.
• Work closely with the Club's leadership to plan regattas, training camps, and other events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes camaraderie and sportsmanship.
• Mentor and motivate athletes to achieve their personal and team goals.
• Ensure safety standards are maintained during all training sessions and regattas.
• Collaborate with other coaches and staff to optimize athletes’ physical and mental preparation.
Qualifications and Experience:
• 2-3 years of coaching experience in rowing.
• Strong knowledge of rowing techniques, training principles, and competition preparation.
• Ability to work with rowers of all ages and skill levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiasm for fostering a supportive and positive training environment.
