The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for building our data center, deploying websites, designing database structures, and working with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. You will also be involved in setting up Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and managing cloud servers. This role requires familiarity with the servers, network design, disaster recovery, database cluster management, and full cycle development model, where engineers are involved in the design, build, test, deploy, and run phases, ensuring comprehensive solutions in both large-scale and evolving environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, and management of the company’s data center infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.
- Oversee the deployment of company websites, ensuring seamless integration with network and system resources, including load balancing and DNS configurations.
- Architect, implement and maintain efficient, secure, and scalable database structures to support various applications and systems.
- Configure and manage cloud-based servers and services on platforms such as AWS and Azure, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment, testing, and updates using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Work across the full lifecycle of system and software development, including design, build, test, deploy, and run, ensuring a continuous feedback loop for improvements and optimizations.
- Design, implement, and maintain the company’s network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity between on-premises data centers and cloud platforms.
- Manage hybrid cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration between on-premise and cloud resources.
- Implement best practices for network security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001, 14000, and ISO 27001.
- Work with internal teams (development, security, and operations) to ensure the successful design and deployment of IT infrastructure.
- Use monitoring tools (Prometheus, and New Relic) to track performance, detect issues, and troubleshoot system and network problems.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network engineering, system design, and infrastructure development.
Expertise in building data centers and managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native technologies.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development and management using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Strong knowledge of system development (design, build, test, deploy, and run).
Proven experience working in large organizations, managing complex infrastructure, and supporting enterprise-level systems.
Strong networking skills, including experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
Proficient in scripting/automation with PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Strong understanding of security practices and standards, including firewalls, encryption, and network intrusion detection.
Desirable Certifications:
AWS Certified Engineer.
Certified in Azure Cloud Service
Certified in Security/Pentesting
