The Stirling Arms Hotel is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join their team based in Guildford.
The Stirling Arms Hotel is a locally owned and operated pub in the heart of the historic town of Guildford, on the doorstep to the Swan Valley.
Comprising a sprawling beer garden, art deco inspired dining room, 300-person band room, the pub focuses on elevated casual food mixing in pub classics with wood fired pizza.
Tasks & Duties:
• Focus on overseeing the sequences of service, particularly bar and floor operations.
• Ensure all staff adhere to industry, local council, and in-house health and safety standards.
• Monitor and enforce hygiene and cleanliness practices across the venue.
• Work closely with junior and entry-level staff, providing support, training, and guidance.
• Maintain team engagement and foster a positive and friendly work environment.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner while upholding high standards of service.
• Opportunity for the role to grow into senior management responsibilities.
Salary: $73,500 per annum
Work Location: Guildford WA 6055
Skills and experience: 1. Relevant commercial cookery qualifications; 2. At least 3 years’ experience.
