Our client is seeking three (3) skilled and experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanics to join their team on a full-time basis.

Specialising in partnerships with domestic builders, they provide installation services for air conditioning and refrigeration systems in newly constructed homes.
About the Role:
The Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanics will assemble, install, maintain, and repair industrial, commercial and domestic air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment. The successful applicant will be assigned to Melbourne.
The annual salary for this job is $80,000 per annum plus superannuation.
Tasks Include:
• Reviewing job requirements from drawings and specifications, and marking out reference points for installations.
• Drilling holes, installing mounting brackets, and cutting, bending, and threading piping for systems.
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing components such as compressors, motors, condensers, evaporators, switches, and gauges, as well as copper lines for steam, gas, refrigerant, compressed air, oil, and chilled water systems.
• Connecting equipment through bolting, soldering, riveting, welding, and brazing pipes, ensuring proper alignment and fit.
• Filling systems with gas or fluids to test for leaks and ensure proper system operation.
• Test-operating HVAC systems, checking components, and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
• Using vacuum pumps to remove test gas or fluid and filling systems with the correct refrigerant.
• Diagnosing faults, overhauling systems, and repairing or replacing defective parts.
• Adjusting system controls and mechanisms, and reassembling systems to meet operational standards.
• Keeping detailed records of system malfunctions, repairs, and actions taken.
• Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance to avoid future issues and prolong system life.
Qualifications:
• Must possess a Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
• Must have at least two (2) years of relevant work experience.
