Brar Carpenter and Renovations are currently seeking a motivated Carpenter to join their team in Spring Mountain in a full time position.
Applicants must hold a Certificate III in Carpentry and have at least 1 year of experience as a Carpenter.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, renovate, and repair wooden, plywood, lightweight steel, and wallboard structures and fixtures.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine required materials, dimensions, and installation processes.
- Select and order timber and materials and prepare layouts for accurate construction.
- Cut, shape, and assemble materials to form parts and structures.
- Build frameworks, install roofing, lay sub-flooring and floorboards, and ensure structural accuracy.
-Install fascia panels, roof sheathing, exterior wall cladding, and door/window frames.
- Assemble and install prepared wood fittings and structures.
- Cut and fit wood joints precisely.
- May construct concrete formwork and repair existing fixtures.
- Experience working with materials like plastic laminates, Perspex, and metals is a plus
A salary of $74,000 + superannuation will be offered to the successful candidate.
