The Income Support Branch (ISB) is one of five branches that operate under the umbrella of the Client Benefits Division. It provides a quality and timely service to eligible veterans and their families to ensure an appropriate level of income support. It delivers the Governments social policy and support agenda through the administration of various means-tested benefits and allowances. Duties
Investigate complex casework matters and exercise delegations as appropriate, and investigate ministerial requests, fraud referrals and complaints
Process claims and applications and exercise delegations consistent with approved guidelines, policies and procedures, in accordance with timeliness and quality standards
Answer complex enquiries from the veteran community, liaise with a range of other external and internal stakeholders on Income Support matters and provide specialist advice
