Phillip Riley has an exciting new opportunity for an Conference and Event Organiser.
This is an integral role leading at Philip Riley supporting our client’s growing demand in more meaningful experiences.
Duties include:
Organising and coordinating services for all event and conferences
Budget management. This includes negotiating with vendors, securing services, and maintaining a contingency fund for any unforeseen costs
Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders
Responsible for organising guest / participants registrations
Coordinating with various vendors—such as caterers, decorators, sound technicians, and lighting professionals.
Working closely with our client’s marketing or event team on any PR initiatives
Internal and External stakeholder management
On-site event management. Ensure that everything is running as planned, troubleshoot any problems, and make last-minute adjustments where needed,
Post event evaluations
Promoting conferences, conventions and trade shows to potential customers
Skills and experience required include:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Strong attention to detail, time management & communication skills
Has a can-do attitude, is self-motivated and a team player
Project management
Salary $87;500 - $107,500 + Superannuation
