THE TRUSTEE FOR SAHYOG UNIT TRUST T/A SANKALP GOLD COAST A cook is responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation. They ensure the kitchen operates efficiently by managing time and resources effectively. Cooks are also involved in the creative development of dishes, balancing flavors and textures. They collaborate with other kitchen staff to streamline processes and ensure food safety. Additionally, they play a key role in managing inventory, reducing waste, and ensuring proper storage procedures are followed. Leadership may extend to guiding junior staff in meeting the establishment’s service and hygiene standards. Assisting with menu planning and estimating food quantities when required. 3. Adjusting temperatures on grills, ovens, and other kitchen equipment as needed. 4. Safely storing food in temperature-controlled environments to maintain quality. 5. Inspecting food items to confirm their quality and freshness before use. 6. Cooking and preparing meals in accordance with established recipes and standards. 7. Preparing dishes that cater to special dietary requirements. 8. Adding appropriate seasonings throughout the cooking process to enhance flavor. 9. Ensuring meals are plated attractively with garnishes, sauces, and gravies. 10.
