The Maxwell Underground Mine , owned by Malabar Resources Ltd has commenced operations at their Hunter Valley site, with planned production of up to 8 million tonnes of per annum and approvals in place out to , the mine targets high quality coal with the majority being metallurgical coal.
Malabar Resources is an independent Australian-based resources company located in the Upper Hunter Valley, in New South Wales.
In addition to the Maxwell Underground Mine, Malabar owns the Maxwell Infrastructure site, and exploration licenses including the Spur Hill Underground Project providing access to around 1Bn (JORC Resource) tonnes of high-quality coal. This underpins our strategy of developing multiple underground operations targeting high quality coal.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Controller will be responsible for ensuring timely implementation and oversight of the Maxwell Underground Mine Project
