Cuisine Type: North/South Indian
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of North/South Indian dishes, including curries, tandoori items, dosas and traditional breads
Plan and design menus, ensuring a variety of options while maintaining authenticity
Monitor food preparation, presentation, and service to meet high standards
Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, inventory, and waste management
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Train and supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and ensuring adherence to kitchen procedures
Work closely with the management team to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Education: Certificate IV in Kitchen Management and Diploma of Hospitality (mandatory)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar role, specializing in North Indian cuisine
Strong understanding of food safety standards and kitchen management principles
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage kitchen staff effectively
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for high-quality cooking
