Starting December 2024, 20 x Farm Hands are required for a farm property in the Lancelin area of Western Australia (1.5 hours North of Perth). All positions are Full time, ongoing.
10 x Shift Work staff – Full time, ongoing basis
• Staff will be paid at Level 3 in line with the Horticulture Award: $28.47 (SHIFT Work) per hour, 38 hours per week. Staff work Monday – Saturday. Start times vary between 2-3pm and staff work 8 hours minimum per shift.
10 x Non-Shift staff – Full time, ongoing basis
• You will be paid at a flat rate of $28.30 per ordinary hour of work for Monday to Saturday and every second Sunday
• Start times vary from 5-7am and staff work 8 hours minimum per shift
• Any hours worked in excess of 49 hours in a single pay period will be paid at the applicable overtime rate/s.
• You will be offered at least 38 hours per week
• You will be paid above Level 3 Award rates (Horticulture Award)
Duties for all positions involve:
• Basic workshop duties, such as fixing machinery and equipment
• Forklift operating
• Driving small trucks on-farm
• Lawn mowing, gardening and irrigation
• Driving small tractors / spraying crops
• Basic Farm Hand duties.
All applicants should have a good level of english to be able to communicate over a 2-way radio. Applicants must have a High Risk Forklift License and be able to work within a small team out in the field. Training and the potential to upskill is available.
Accommodation can be arranged on-farm or in a nearby town for $80-150 per week.
