An amazing opportunity and above-award pay rate is on offer for a passionate Centre Manager!
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced manager who is either diploma-trained or an Early Childhood educator with exceptional attention to detail and a warm, friendly personality.
Your day-to-day focus will include:
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the centre
• Assisting in increasing centre occupancy
• Providing leadership and guidance to the team
• Managing weekly rosters
• Ensuring the centre presents well and is compliant with all State Legislation and National Quality Standards
• Recruiting, inducting and supporting new team members
• Embedding the Child Safe Standards within the everyday practices of the centre
• Effectively managing centre budgets and occupancy
• Ensure health and safety standards are maintained at a high level at all times
• Ensuring the centre always demonstrates exceeding levels of practice as outlined in the National Quality Standard.
• Maintain a harmonious relationship with all centre stakeholders
• Ensuring that all policies and procedures are implemented, embedded, evaluated and reviewed in conjunction with team members and families on a regular basis.
• Guiding the highest quality of curriculums and pedagogical documentation
• Building and engaging with local communities, creating strong ties and relationships with the community

Skills, Experience and Attributes
• Strong knowledge of The Early Years Learning Framework, Assessment and Quality Rating Process, National Quality Standards and National Law and Regulations
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong knowledge of the WA Child Safe Standards
• Excellent personal presentation
• Proficient computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge or willingness to learn Smart Central
• Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Child Protection Training
• Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
• Highly organised with a strong ability to multi-task
• Ability to create a strong team and supportive, happy culture
• Confidence in dealing with families, staff and the local community
