Our client Increment Pty Limited, a leading IT services provider, specialises in delivering a range of IT solutions including cloud infrastructure, modern workplace solutions, data analytics, automation, and security.

Increment is looking for a Systems Administrator and this role is crucial to the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless system operations, data protection, and network security.

The System Administrator will manage and maintain the IT infrastructure that supports the company's growth and operational efficiency, addressing challenges related to system performance, network reliability, and security.
The primary purpose of the position is to provide system administration and maintenance, technical triage and incident management and to ensure the company’s IT systems function optimally, meet security standards, and support business operations.

This position is integral to maintaining the reliability of IT services, protecting critical business data, and improving system performance, all of which are critical for client satisfaction and the company's competitive edge in the technology sector.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree and ITIL 4 Foundation or higher will be preferred
• At least two years of full-time relevant work experience in a similar industry is required. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in system administration, network management, and cybersecurity practices, particularly in cloud infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities:
In this role your main responsibilities include:
• Administering and maintaining multiple client systems in Microsoft azure cloud environment as provided for government agencies and enterprise companies by Increment Managed Support Services (MSS) agreements.
• Maintaining communication channels with all MSS clients and responding to all client incidents within commercially agreed SLAs.
• Monitoring client system health to ensure optimal system configuration and operational performance.
• Supporting and troubleshooting all system including azure networking services, such as Azure Virtual Network, Entra ID, Security and Azure VM and azure application services problems and incidents in line with commercially agreed SLAs.
• Testing, maintaining, and administering new and upgraded systems and applications.
• Onboarding new identities to client systems and applications
• Triaging regular system patches as released by vendors and creating implementation plans for system release.
• Creating and maintaining knowledge articles and technical guides to support, maintain and enhance new systems and systems supported under MSS agreements.
• Update, plans and develops of system services and documentation. Reviewing design and as-built technical documentation for newly created systems and applications and creating test cases to prove functional compliance.
• Executing testing for newly created systems and applications and provide evidence to prove functional compliance and meet client acceptance criteria.

Skills and attributes:
• Proficiency in system and network administration, including cloud-based environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and protocols, particularly Zero Trust models.
• Experience with automation tools, AI, and machine learning integration in IT environments.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to system maintenance and issue resolution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to support end-users and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to maintain high levels of productivity with a Can-Do attitude.
