We are proudly part of Japan Post - www.tollgroup.com The role We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Manager to join our Global Logistics division at the Telstra Prestons site. This hands-on role primarily supports the Telstra account, which constitutes 95% of our warehouse operations. This is a permanent position, working afternoon shift Monday to Friday, 11am - 7pm. Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled stock takes and cycle counts to meet customer expectations.
Compile and analyze results, providing comprehensive reports and recommendations to management.
Conduct regular site checks, report any discrepancies, and ensure thorough investigations and resolutions.
Manage and maintain overall site inventory record accuracy (IRA) in alignment with agreed KPIs.
Develop and implement action plans to address identified defects.
Oversee inventory cycle counting schedules to meet customer service level agreements (SLAs).
Collaborate with operations to identify and resolve inventory-related picking issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities under time pressure.
Excellent customer service orientation and effective time management.
High attention to detail with strong analytical abilities.
Proficient in MS Office and other office-based technologies.
Familiarity with providing services in a third-party logistics environment.
Experience with warehouse management software is advantageous.
Certificate(s) or Diploma in Warehousing & Distribution and/or Transport & Logistics is preferred.
