Days and hours required per week: Wednesdays, 5 hours per week -10 AM to 3 PM including a 30 minutes lunch break. Location: Auburn Centre for Community, Auburn Commitment Period: Minimum 6 months Duties and Responsibilities: Community Engagement Volunteers support the Community Engagement Team to deliver a range of quality activities and events such as soccer training, drama classes, sewing groups, walking tours, excursions, surveys, free ticket distribution, school holiday programs, and large celebrations. Tasks may include:
Performing client registration processes prior to the activity and / or on the day of the activity
Ensuring that clients have all the information required to meaningfully participate in events and programs of interests
Attending Community Engagement activities and events, ensuring that a warm and inclusive environment is enjoyed by all participants
Assisting with event set-up and pack down
Ensuring that any wellbeing
