The salon is now seeking an experienced hairdresser with a relevant Australian Certificate or equivalent and 2 years of experience in the role or 3 years of experience in the role along with organisation skills, good communication skills, reliable, well presented and hard working.
Moreover he/she is someone who can confidently manager their time, work effectively on their own and within a team and able to:
- Enquire clients about the type of service they require;
- Provide excellent customer service
- Provide full salon service including: haircutting, shampooing, blow drying, colouring and styling
- Maintain cleanliness of the salon and station
- Cut and trim client’s hair for both men and women with appropriate tools such as scissors, clippers and razors
- Counsel clients on health care, colour and styling
- Perform colouring, perming, straightening, cutting, trimming and styling activities
- Shampoo and dry hair before or after treatment and style it using brushes, hair irons and ?combs
- Apply color and highlights, lowlights and rinses to client’s hair
- Provide excellent customer service
