Madam ji is seeking Restaurant Manager to lead our floor team with an immediate start on a full-time basis in Darlinghurst NSW. An ideal candidate should hold a minimum of diploma in a culinary field, or equivalent experience as a Restaurant Manager.
Salary range offered is $74,000 to $80,000 plus super depending on skills and experience of the applicant. The role is open to local residents as well as overseas culinary professional.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Daily responsibilities including overall management of floor and bar operations
• Ensure that guest experience the highest level of dining standards, including presentation, restaurant ambience, serving times and staff interactions
• Manage staff daily / weekly rosters and leave and assign duties, and hiring new staff
• Monitor floor team for professionalism and presentation with performance management and mentoring
• Manage guest services procedures including financial analysis, budgeting, and staffing
• Contribute to general business growth through successful planning and management of events, functions, and parties
• Oversee customer services portfolio including complaints handling and resolutions, evaluating feedback and implementing suggestions, and escalations
• Contribute to planning of menus based on commercial success and market prices.
• Ensure floor operations have minimum wastage, and the facility remains well equipped
• Responsible for employee compliance with the food and hygiene, WHS, fire and hazard prevention and workplace sanitation requirements.
• Contribute to overall stock control, stock orders and quality assurance.
Skill set Required:
• Diploma in a Culinary discipline, or similar field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a management role
• A strong focus on delivering high standards and exceptional product
• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills
• A genuinely charismatic, energetic personality with a desire to succeed
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Sound knowledge of beverages and expertise with the wine lists
