Full-time Cook
Salary $73,150 + superannuation
Duties:
Preparing and cooking of various food on the menu.
Preparing gravies and sauces that goes with different food items available in the menu.
Understanding the food handling and storing techniques.
Ensuring the quality of food are always according to the hygiene standards.
Preparing traditional Western dishes like steaks, pasta, roasts, seafood and some Asian style food
while following specific recipes.
Assisting chefs and other kitchen staffs in plating, portioning & presentation of food in a pleasing manner.
Following hygiene and safety standards every time while working in the kitchen and waste control.
Job Requirements:
At least 1-2 years’ experience in the related field.
Must have good work ethic and can handle themselves during busy work hours and fast paced work environment.
We prefer a friendly candidate who is willing to work with diverse workforce.
Preferably someone with Australian qualifications C-IV in Cookery or similar.
Previous experience working in Bistro and knowledge of Western and Asian style cuisine would be prioritized.
