Description:
Espresso & Prosecco is looking for a café manager to join our team! The successful applicant will assist us in the daily running of the business.
What we are looking for?
· Passionate about food and drinks
· Experience in hospitality
· Exceptional customer service standards
· Valid RSA (WA) and Approved Manager Card (WA)
The ideal candidates would have at least 2 years of experience in the same role along with organisation skills, staff training, inventory management skills, good communication skills, and leadership skills.
Main duties:
Training, and supervising staff.
Preparing weekly work schedules for staff and finding suitable replacements in cases of staff absence.
Ensuring that all expenses are within budget and identifying ways to decrease operational costs.
Receiving delivered supplies and verifying that the correct items and quantities have been delivered.
Taking inventory of supplies and ordering new stock as needed.
Resolving customer complaints regarding food quality and customer service.
Suggesting new menu items based on customers' preferences and feedback.
Identifying strategies to retain and attract customers.
· Occasionally take reservations, assisting in taking orders and serving customers;
· Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the cafe are up to standard
