Assist in the planning, cooking and preparation of the full range of meals
Participate in current food operation - cook-fresh and cook-chill.
Preparation and service of meals ensuring nutritious and wholesome food and variety of food.
Preparation of special diets and modified diets as required.
Preparation and service of meals for functions

About You: We are excited to hear from you about this role! We are looking out for:
Your demonstrated compassion and empathy. Our teams have a passion for what they do and the impact they make to our residents and their families.
Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to ensure the best possible resident experience and teamwork
Previous experience in bulk cooking, preferably in aged care
Your ability to work efficiently and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Current knowledge of Food Handling Legislative including HACCP requirements
Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery as well as Food Safety Certification
