- About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Biochemistry Scientist to lead and oversee departmental testing and operations whilst fostering a collaborative and high performing environment in the laboratory. The Chief Biochemistry Scientist will manage the development, validation, implementation and protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. This role involves strategic planning, client and resource management to optimise laboratory performance support clinical needs. As the Chief Biochemistry Scientist, you will be responsible for:
Manage the departments annual operating plan and financial budgets
Monitor and report on monthly financial KPIs.
Prepare and submit recommendations for capital expenditure
