Working in an Agile Environment, the Platform Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation and enhancement of tooling and processes to automate the software delivery cloud platform and Infrastructure as Code across Auto & General. This role sits at the intersection of Infrastructure & IT Operations, and Development teams and requires continuous innovation and process improvements to deliver reliable applications and resilient infrastructure for Auto & General customers.
The role
Contribute to the design and implementation of foundation, standards and practices for the Cloud Services team drawing on knowledge of Platform industry practices and frameworks.
Collaborate with Application Development Teams to align and influence Platform practices that enable faster delivery and effective maintenance of cloud infrastructure.
Contribute to the migrations of existing solutions and the development of new solutions following the Cloud Services technology
