Great Missenden Grain & Cattle Co is family-owned 1800ha cattle property at Tallarook, Victoria. We are seeking an active and experienced person with a “can-do” attitude to join our team as a fulltime Working Farm Manager.
Reporting to the Senior Farm Manager, as well as the Owners, the role will have primary responsibility on pasture management with a particular focus on improvement to support the cattle operation as well as all aspects of farm machinery.
The successful candidate will have experience with all facets of a working farm operation with particular experience with pasture improvement or crop management operations. Strong mechanical experience is essential as well as working knowledge and experience with solar PV systems, farm drainage and irrigation works and fencing operations. Bushfire prevention and management experience is also an important requirement for this position.
Remuneration: $90k p.a + super and vehicle
