As the People Operations Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing HR support and guidance to our diverse blue and white-collar workforce at the Fulfilment Centre in Altona North (VIC 3025). This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can tackle the daily challenges of a busy Fulfilment Centre. If you have prior experience in a hands-on operational position and are eager to take on new challenges, we’d love to hear from you!

Your Role:

  • Provide hands-on HR support to both blue-collar and white-collar staff.
  • Develop HR policies to ensure compliance with laws and best practices.
  • Manage high-volume recruitment and onboarding for casual staff.
  • Address employee relations issues and support performance improvement.
  • Ensure HR activities align with legal requirements and internal standards.
  • Lead People & Culture initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Proven experience in a fast-paced, blue-collar or operational environment.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Australian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Google suite use (sheets, docs, slides, etc.)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic workplace.
