About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Motel Manager to join our team at Mid-City Motor Lodge in Orange, NSW. As the Motel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our well-established motel, ensuring excellent customer service and the efficient management of all aspects of the business.
What you'll be doing
Manage all front-of-house operations, including, taking bookings guest check-in and check-out, handling inquiries and resolving any issues
Sound knowledge of PMS RMS Cloud, knowledge of Channel Manager and managing channels
Oversee the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the motel
Manage the maintenance and upkeep of the motel facilities, equipment and grounds
Coordinate staff schedules and supervise the motel team, providing training and support as needed
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the motel and attract new customers
Manage the motel's financial operations, including budgeting, invoicing and reporting
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and safety standards
Mentoring staff and resolving staff conflicts
Ordering and inventory management
What we're looking for
Preferablly experience in a similar motel or hotel management role
Excellent customer service skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality guest experiences
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
Demonstrated financial management skills, including budgeting and reporting
Proficient in the use of relevant software and technology for motel operations
A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
