Who we are The Water Infrastructure and Investment Division enables informed water resource investment decision making by Government; we design and deliver robust Government programs that invest in and support Australias regional water resources townships, the environment, agriculture and industry; and we look for opportunities through collaboration and partnership to shape policy and investments that impact regional water resources. A function of this division is to provide a conveyance function to support water purchase programs, which assists with capturing water recovery data which is used with reporting and analytics function. We also administer the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards (WELS) scheme, to conserve Australia's water resources by helping consumers make informed decisions and encouraging uptake of water-saving technologies.
