This central Government Agency is responsible for developing policies and legislation that set the standards and requirements within the Australian Public Service (APS). They prioritise well-being and equality within both the APS and private enterprises.
Your new role
As an APS4 Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role with responsibilities that include:


Diary Management: Organising and scheduling meetings, including coordinating briefings.


Correspondence Management: Handling incoming emails, briefs, letters, and appointment requests.


Call Screening: Receiving and screening telephone calls to ensure timely and appropriate responses.


Stakeholder Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


Travel Coordination: Managing travel allowances and reimbursements.


Record Keeping: Maintaining records in line with departmental policies and procedures.


Document Management: Managing items through the Department's Ministerial correspondence and Cabinet document tracking systems.


Network Support: Actively supporting the Department's Executive Assistant Network.


What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have prior experience as an Executive Assistant or Personal Assistant, or possess transferable skills. Proficiency in the listed duties is essential, and you must be comfortable working in a high-profile team.

Requirements:


Australian Citizenship.


Willingness to meet all onboarding requirements.


Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, or NV2).
