Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Supervisor to oversee our transportation operations in Cloncurry, QLD. This FIFO position operates on a 2:1 roster, with flights (ex Brisbane, Townsville, or Cairns), meals and accommodation included.
Key Responsibilities :
Supervise and oversee 5-10 truck operations, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.
Team management, supervise, train, and support a team of drivers and logistics staff.
Route planning, schedule deliveries, and monitor driver performance.
Vehicle maintenance to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards.
Provide updates on delivery schedules to customers.
Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Cost management and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high-quality service.
