Your new role
Systems Engineering & Safety: Provide comprehensive systems engineering and systems safety engineering services throughout the entire system engineering life cycle, including conception, design, realisation, integration, verification, acceptance, and support.
Safety Standards Compliance: Conduct system safety activities in accordance with recognised standards such as MIL-STD-882E.
Engineering Frameworks: Coordinate system engineering activities following established frameworks like SCRUM, ANSI/EIA-632, ISO/IEC 15288, or the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook.
Requirements Management: Analyse and elicit customer needs and required functionalities, document and manage requirements.
Architectural Design: Develop system-level architectures, design concepts, and deployment solutions.
Design Analysis: Perform design analysis and trade studies.
Specification & Traceability: Specify and trace requirements for systems, sub-systems, and products.
Interface Design: Define and design interfaces.
Testing & Verification: Develop test procedures and verify that the design is correctly built and integrated, including post-implementation assessments to ensure the system meets its goals.
What you'll need to succeed
Australian Citizenship with security clearance (ideally NV1 or upwards)
Tertiary qualification(s) in Engineering or equivalent
Full Systems Engineering lifecycle experience
System Safety Analysis experience
Experience working on complex projects, ideally within defence.
