The Opportunity-
Novaskill has partnered with Northern Beaches Council to offer a Library Assistant Traineeship including on-the-job training with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential.
Youll complete a Certificate III in Library and Information Services whilst working with the Library Services team over 12 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation and practical on-the-job experience at the Northern Beaches Council Library Services Team.
The Role-
Earn money while you gain a nationally recognised qualification
Assist with customer service duties to support the effective operation of the library
Assist in the delivery of programs, events and exhibitions to support contemporary, community-focused and innovative library services
support collection management tasks to support the provision of relevant and engaging collections
Support the administration tasks and projects as required
