Quysine is a charming tapas and restaurant in a line-up of bars and eateries on the edge of
Cleverland centre, aiming to offer a great menu of tapas plates. For customers with special
dietary requirements, 80 percent of our menu can be prepared gluten free and option for vegetarian.
With three dining areas inclusive of a sprawling alfresco surrounded by grapevines, Quysine
restaurant provides cozy and relaxing atmosphere for both lunch and dinner.

Established in 2016, Quysine Bar and Restaurant has gained recognition as a favored destination for both regular patrons and visitors in Cleveland, offering an authentic tapas dining experience. The establishment artfully combines Australian and Spanish culinary traditions, featuring an extensive selection of over 25 distinct tapas options. In an effort to enhance the dining experience and broaden menu offerings, the management is now proposing the introduction of Asian healthy cuisine. This strategic expansion aims to provide customers with a diverse range of nutritious choices, thereby catering to evolving consumer preferences and dietary considerations.

We are currently looking for a highly experienced Cook to join our vibrant team. To be considered for
this role, you need to demonstrate substantial knowledge and experience in Asian culinary (especially
Vietnamese) and an ability to work in a fast paced environment. In return, you will be offered

· Prepare appetisers, main courses and desserts
· Operate kitchen and provide consistent food presentation and quality
· Responsible for food quality, consistency and hygiene standards
· Assist in menu planning
· Purchase stock, materials, supplies or equipment
· Understand all sections of food processing and kitchen operation
· Supervise kitchen staff and assist in different stations
· Conduct training and induction for new staff and maintain kitchen rosters
· Adhere to communication protocols within the back house and across the restaurant
· Complete tasks appropriate to experience and skills
· Follow operating procedures and suggest areas for improvement
· Maintain high standard of both personal and work hygiene

Requirements:
· At least a trade qualification in commercial cookery
· Minimum three year experience in Vietnamese culinary
· Substantial experience in operating fast paced kitchen
· Bilingual speakers (Vietnamese) are highly regarded
· A team player with effective communication skills
· Immaculate presentation skills
