Key Account Manager - SAAS

  • Job Title: Key Account Manager (SAAS/Software Solutions) 
  • Location: Adelaide, Australia 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Analyze account potential to develop new business; initiate, develop, and close sales; recommend new applications and sales strategies.
  • Account Analysis: Identify potential in accounts by studying current business, evaluating additional needs, and analyzing opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives. 
  • Internal Coordination: Collaborate with the Internal Support team to deliver the right solutions to customers on time. 
  • Client Support: Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as necessary. 
  • Sales Process Initiation: Build relationships to initiate the sales process; qualify potential leads and schedule appointments. 
  • Growth Opportunity Collaboration: Work with the sales team to identify growth opportunities within the territory. 
  • Client Development: Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas for improvement to meet sales targets.
  • Metrics Forecasting: Forecast and track key account metrics, such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on account status. 
  • Monthly Client Engagement: Engage with key accounts monthly to understand usage patterns, provide usage recommendations, and suggest additional applications if needed.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits. 
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships. 
  • Sales Development:  Present initial proposals, explain product and service enhancements, and introduce new products and services. 
  • Trusted Advisor Role: Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors. 
  • Progress Communication: Clearly communicate the progress of monthly and quarterly initiatives to the reporting manager.
  • Sales Strategy Contribution: Contribute to sales strategies by evaluating current product results, identifying needs, and monitoring competitive products.

Preferences:

  • 3-5 years of experience in sales/account management roles.
  • Australian National. (A Must)
  • Deep understanding of B2B SAAS products.
  • Salary Range: AUD 110K Base, Rough OTE: 140 - 150K 
  • Work Location: Adelaide (Hybrid)
