We are seeking a motivated and experienced Organisational and Methods Analyst to join our team. As a Consultant at Escient, you will play a crucial role in understanding our clients' processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing effective strategies to drive business growth. This position requires a selfless, creative, and courageous individual who thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive analysis of client systems and structures, including their goals, processes, and challenges, to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Undertake and review work studies by analysing existing and proposed methods and procedures such as administrative and clerical procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and contribute to innovative solutions.
• Prepare and recommend proposals to revise methods and procedures, alter workflows, redefine job functions and resolve organisational problems.
• Direct clients towards more efficient organisation and develops solutions to organisational problems.
• Assist in implementing approved recommendations, issue revised instructions and procedure manuals, and draft other documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, providing thought leadership and strategic guidance to clients and colleagues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our consulting services.
Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
• Proven experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
• Have business process modelling, organisational methods analysis and business case writing experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and interpret large datasets.
• Proficient in tools and techniques, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Possess a selfless, creative, and courageous mindset, embracing challenges with resilience and adaptability.
